新闻 - Change for the sake of change.

Change for the sake of change.

1. FOR SEASON 67
- Tyre wear will be increased so 4 stops can be allowed, as well as giving 5 Softs, 4 Mediums and 3 Hards to teams for each Grand Prix.
- The "setup sophistication" parameter for F1 cars will be increased, so that getting perfect setups becomes harder.

These changes won't impact strategy in any way. They're unfair; you're simply extending a helping hand to those who don't know how to tune their cars. These are completely useless and unfair changes. Let people learn to tune their cars instead of begging for concessions.

2. FOR SEASON 68
- The second share issue will be raised to 70% for the next whole engine cycle (S68-S75). The effectiveness of this measure would be evaluated in season 74, while temporary adjustments for the bottom 3-5 teams could be considered for the second half of the engine cycle.

There is no need to wait until the 74th season to evaluate the effectiveness of this measure; it will amount to between 500K and 1M per season.

As for budget caps and taxes, this won't stop anyone from tanking, because if there's no money to build a vehicle, then by definition, you have to tank. I think DebiK doesn't understand the simple truth that teams tank not to make more money, but to survive.

3. A new C1-C6 tyre compound system will be implemented, where C1 is the hardest and C6 the softest. Three consecutive compounds would be randomly chosen for each race using the random allocation system. Each random allocation would be done every 2-3 seasons to avoid running through all combinations too quickly.

Currently, 90% of players know nothing and don't understand how F1 works. Any experience in this field can only be gained by getting into F1. Now imagine how a newbie would navigate this tire chaos and what results they would achieve.

All these changes are just for the sake of changes and have no meaning or practical benefit.

Progress Requires Experimentation

I don't think that change for the sake of change is necessarily a bad thing, especially when things are not working as they should. Doing nothing simply means accepting those problems and hoping they somehow disappear. Even in the worst-case scenario...
