It is Close to the half way point of the F1 season. After running in the New Paul Ricard circuit the French Gran Prix. The Team had press conference announcing the Had signed the Great Canadian Driver Danny Doucet! In meeting afterwards Foyt Found out he was without a Ride for Next season in F1. Audi of course thanked Foyt and explained that it was a tough choice. Foyt said he understood and he believed they made the Right choice for Audi. Thanked Audi for the opportunity.

Texas Motorsports Realizing the chances may be small entered Foyt Indy in case not teams needed his service for season 30 in F1. And off to the telephones to attempt to find an F1 ride for season 30.

While disappointed with the announcement Foyt turned to his engineers said we still have mission to get the number 2 car some points! The planning For next race started!
