Well Foyts first week of F1 racing was a total Disaster! First not knowing the rules. Foyt took his Audi car out to early and cost him a whole days Practice session. Be over eager to start is a normal for F1. But getting to track way to early for normal Audi team to arrive and talking car out is just plain Nutz!.

Needless to say Foyt started Melbourne with the worst car setups in field. But come race day he seem pretty Game. starting in 24th in field Foyt with his unique style . Also forced from burning up to many tires in practice.. Was respectable he managed to keep the car on track so That is already a huge plus and not damage it.. Another huge plus.. Finished 21st behind the Number 1 who finished 19th.

The real truth is The manager way over zealous saw the car ready in F1 on day 77 took car out.. Had no staff assigned .. Did not know to confirm it. Then worse the game was not ready so he actually practiced with Bare f1 car with no parts installed even though it was listed.. Hench why his practice times was double every other car.

So for all you Future F1 rookies First practice for f1 should be after Day 1 and with Team managers permission! Take note!
