Wais Kalembene enjoyed his consistency success at the Friendship Cup, only finished 7th with 50 points, plus a podium at Homebush, 3 top 5 finishes and 7 top 10 finishes out of 10 races, but he signed for North American Street Circuits, the opener proved to be promise when he got 4th but then he hit trouble, failed to finish a single feature race after other drivers took him out recklessly on 3 occasions and crashed under his own mistake at 2 of them, the finale under the wet conditions was the worst he had done since he was going to climb up the field. Nonetheless, he was able to take 2 more 4th places, finishing 12th with 36 points. 'I should've been more careful' he said, 'I joined at the worst time when noobs took me out on half of my retirements, I can't accept anymore repair bills'.

So far in Formula 3 World Series, he's taken 24 points with a 7th, 6th, 5th places at 3 races, he ruined a possible podium after spinning at the first corner at the Surfers Paradise Feature, limping home in 15th, qualified horribly at Durban before climbing up to 15th (only non-fight for points) before finishing 6th.
Took no points at Brazil after being past by De Florio in the closing stages, engine failed while targeting for 9th and got hit at Road America while fighting for 8th, only took 13th. He was able to finish almost every race in the top half of the field (bar Brazil Feature) but he has to get rid of the bad luck and use a little more skill.
