Officially, Maya Arellano becomes the first Venezuelan driver to achieve 96 pole positions to her name, becoming also the leader of the Venezuelan statistics with more pole positions after surpassing her compatriots Roberto Jr Alagna and Leonel Martinez who were the all-time polesitters for Venezuela until Maya Arellano surpassed them

In her first season in the MRC world, Arellano, being considered a backmarker, surprised the world with the 96th pole position of her career, being very close to being the first Venezuelan driver to achieve the 100th pole position. Even though her future is not defined yet as she had to adapt herself into the Rookie Series, her family and compatriots are so proud and happy after Arellano managed to achieve her 96th pole position
