NASC Truck Title Birthday Present!

Jackson Storm, prior NASC Gold Cup Champion and Ford F1 driver many surprised everyone, including his manager, yesterday by coming away with the NASC Truck Championship title, just one day before turning 47 years old.

When asked about winning the title Storm, his usual easy going self, remarked,

"I was just pleased to make it to the final 4, so I threw a bit more at this final race and since the old gal held together on me we got a win".

He added in a more lengthy reply that he thought the new playoffs system was a bit 'gnarly' and feels bad for Genov who was the clear championship leader all series.

Storms manager, F1 Team Boss Wresdan, was also extremely pleased to hear of his driver's success.

"Honestly when Jack told me he wanted to return to NASC this season I had no idea he meant Trucks. I'm glad he still enjoys his racing, it's a far cry from F1 or the GOld Cup but to bring home yet another trophy, especially at his age, is great!"

Having tried out a variety of series over the past seasons when asked where he thought he might drive next Storm smiled widely and replied,

"You know those Rally cars look like a lot of fun!"
