16 Lap Race Sees 5 Laps of Live Driving

Track officials at Sochi Olympic Park are under fire today, after the race saw only 5 laps of live racing in the Sprint Leg of Street Racers LI. Sochi is the 4th stage in the 5-stage custom series.

Several drivers were infuriated that they'd spent the entire race behind the safety car and are demanding answers. American RAGE driver, Nick Wheeler, never short on post-race sound bites was overheard saying "if it's going to take more than 30% of the race to clear a problem, why not drop the red flag and stop us? I didn't spend 115 laps testing on this course to run 5 laps of live racing. To top it all off, Cruz and Vanderpuije never got their chances at Vilarino, and now I've got to deal with him breathing down my neck in the standings because he coasted behind flashing lights. I guess that's racing in Russia."
