After free practice in the rain, the riders had to face a completely dry Qualifying in Suzuka, a bit of a shot in the dark for everyone.
Reine Peterson excelled and set the fastest lap (48.800), 0.199s ahead of Carson Wrecks, Axel Bassani closes the front row, 0.347s behind Reine Peterson.
