Macías Pajaras wins the Marina Bay race on the Superb Formula Series

After a mid-race change of tires made just after a Safety Car, and climb thirteen positions in the last two laps, Macias Pajares has climbed to the top of the podium to the surprise of everyone, including himself.

"They just told me to enter the pits to change the tires when the safety car went and we had a pretty tight conversation on the radio ... I almost abandoned the race," said Macías. "It's a good thing that my team hit the torrential rains in Singapore, and it rained right after the last safety car, as if they were playing in the Arcade mode."

With this victory, Macías reaffirms himself in the top 10 of the Superb Formula Series and hopes to return to step on the podium before finishing the season.
