Da Tempo to stay at Mercedes

30 years old Italian driver Guido Da Tempo will drive for Mercedes F1 team for one more season - season 20.

"It is positive for the team when a driver can stay and it helps to bring some consistency into the team when needed," is the first comment from Mercedes.

Da Tempo lies 28th in the standings with his best result 23rd in Russia and Monaco.

Da Tempo needs to do his best to match his new team-mate's pace next season as Mercedes recently announced Dominik Dan as their first driver.
The team is looking forward to return into real fights next season.
