"The Lip" goes with new engine combination

Unsatisfied with the results he's put up in his 1st full - 2nd overall season of racing Louis "The Lip" Gagliano has decided to go with a new engine combination.

To say that "The Lip" has been very unhappy this season would be an understatement. "The Lip" told his crew we needed a new engine. Something that will put more ponies (ie:horsepower) under the hood.

"The Lip" finally got a chance to debut the new engine combination at the Pikes Peak GP in Fountain Colorado though he qualified in 20th the car didn't seem to give him the difficulties the old engine did.

"Debuting the engine in Colorado "The Lip" thinks is a good decision. Not only because "the Lip" grew up in Boulder, have family in Westminster and Telluride, the track is like being home. I know every inch of this track the way some people know every inch of their spouse. Its comfortable to them. Now "The Lip" doesn't know how he'll fare but the feel of the car is good and when I start the new season soon it is hoped that it won't take too much time for "The Lip" to be up to snuff.
