Persberichten - AMR SUPER SLOW TURTLE MOTORSPORTS

AMR SUPER SLOW TURTLE MOTORSPORTS

PRESS RELEASE | INDYCAR

A TOUGH SEASON, A PODIUM IN SIGHT, AND F1 ON THE MIND.

Malaquias Baptista's IndyCar season hasn't exactly gone according to plan. But then again, if everything went according to plan in motorsport, half the engineers would be unemployed and the other half would be on holiday.

Representing AMR Super Slow Turtle Motorsports, Baptista is working on race strategy, tactical decisions, and physical preparation. The objective is to fight for a strong championship finish while continuing to develop the skills needed to pursue his ultimate ambition: Formula 1.

The dream is big. The work is relentless. The margin for error is roughly the size of a parking space at Monaco.

THREE QUESTIONS WITH MALAQUIAS

Q: How would you describe your season so far?

Baptista: A learning experience I'd happily exchange for a few better results. We're working hard, analysing our mistakes, and trying to become more consistent. Unfortunately, championship points aren't awarded for effort, which seems a little unfair.

Q: Formula 1 is still the target?

Baptista: Absolutely. I know it's a difficult road, and nobody gets there on ambition alone. I need to improve tactically, physically, and strategically. First, I have to prove what I can do here. One step at a time, even if I'd obviously prefer to skip straight to the paddock in F1.

Q: What would you like to say to your team?

Baptista: A huge thank you to everyone at AMR Super Slow Turtle Motorsports. Their commitment and support make a real difference, especially when results don't reflect the work going in. Racing is a team effort, and I want to repay that trust with better performances. Ideally, before the team starts charging me for emotional damage.

STILL RACING. STILL LEARNING. STILL DREAMING.

The immediate mission is to finish the season strongly. The long-term ambition is Formula 1. Between the two lie hard work, smarter decisions, and plenty of opportunities to prove the doubters wrong.

Malaquias Baptista isn't promising miracles. He's promising to keep working until the stopwatch has something better to say.
