Paziņojumi presei - Mercedes: "If you want to win, hire a Finn"

Mercedes: "If you want to win, hire a Finn"

Mercedes F1 team is glad to announce all Finnish driver line-up for season 21.

Sebastian Raikkonen, currently driving for Trabant, will race for Mercedes in season 21. The Finn will be very valuable for the team with F1 experience and his skills. Raikkonen was also driving for Toro Rosso in the past, but before his F1 career tried several different series.

Valtteri Sinisalo will partner the experienced driver in the other car. That will be his first Formula 1 season. He’s currently competing in Formula E, but he also tried V8 supercars and various F2 series in the past.

Mercedes is looking forward to see new line-up racing next season and insist that new signings are another step forward for them, as the team is trying to come back after some poor seasons.

Remember, there’s a saying in motorsport: "If you want to win, hire a Finn". And we signed 2 Finns ;)
