First Season Series win!

After 2 very good weeks in the season series, Tobias R. Steegs grabbed his first win in the Benelux Series. Nearing the end of this season, the future is looking very bright for the rookie.

He finished the qualification in Zandvoort in 4th position, and after a few laps in 2nd position in the sprint race, he couldn't manage to hold on to the 2nd spot, but he did finish in 3rd position with a comfortable margin on the number 4.

Then in the feature race, it was all happening. After a short period of time, he took over the lead. After a fierce battle with Nahit Castro for 2nd position in the first lap, Nahit made a mistake which cost him the position. With Tobias now hunting down Mario T. de Sousa, it happened not long after, in lap 3 he managed to grab first position. After a mistake in lap 8, he lost some time, but quickly recovered his leading position, and was able to hold it for the rest of the race.

With just 1 more week to go in the season, he was able to get some very important points there. He is currently ranked 8th with 411 points, with just 8 points behind E. Fleury from Switzerland and 1 point ahead of M. Thielen from Belgium.

With this weeks results in mind, I think he'll have a very bright future ahead of him, and we'd love to see his performance in season 15!
