Rossi Sweeps Rookie Series Weekend, Talks USA Youth

18 year old American Tyler Rossi came into the Rookie Series Austin race week with a dose of confidence and excitement. Having come off a podium and a race win at Bulawayo, Rossi was eager to repeat. And so he did! Taking pole and leading every single lap of the sprint and feature races at Austin, Rossi proved to be dominant.

After the win in Austin, Rossi had this to say about the state of the United States and young drivers:

"There's a ton of young talent coming up for the United States! The president of the NMA is going to have his hands full with U21 talent. You have myself sitting #12 in the Rookie Series, Michael Bauer sitting 6th in the F3 Italian Series and many more. I've even got to race with Eddie Cheever's son, Cheever Jr. If he turns out to drive like his father, the motorsport community is in for a treat!"
