Mediterranean Series – Torrenti emerges under the Monaco’s flood: awesome win in Race 2!

Awesome win for Mark L. Torrenti who, under a real flood (until 98% wet track!), grinds the opponents with a fantastic ride in Race 2. He’s confirms himself as the unique drivers of the series who gained points in every race with 7 podiums and a win. Having guessed a perfect setup without availing the warm-up (dry) the Italian found a constant and speed pace. Thanks also to a great strategy, Torrenti reached the finish line without mistakes. Louis too (2nd place for him) but he couldn’t resist to the attack from the Italian, arriving with a quite high gap (11 seconds). Unfortunately races, instead, for the series’ leaders, both retired. De Montferrand had three (!) different contacts at lap 6 and Marone made a big mistake while he was 7th in the last part of the race. The new classification sees still leader De Montferrand (214 points), then Marone (177), 3rd Torrenti (168) and 4th Louis (154).
