I agree with you for the most part. I do think there needs to be more flexibility when it comes to race day management.

One of the most frustrating situations is planning your pit window at 15 laps, only to have a caution come out on the 17th lap and then pitting under green once it goes green . In a real-world scenario, you would almost certainly pit under yellow, then adjust your driving style by managing tire wear and saving fuel to make the strategy work.

The game would benefit from a more dynamic strategy system with conditional "if" statements that allow players to prepare for different race scenarios. For example, strategies could change based on factors such as:

• Track position ( place position, time behind desired finishing position etc. )
• Whether a caution is deployed
• What rival drivers are doing
• When competitors pit
• Weather changes

At the moment, the strategy system feels fairly basic. You select a single strategy before the race and are locked into it, without the ability to adapt as the race unfolds. Adding conditional strategy options and more race-day decision making would make the experience feel much more realistic and rewarding.
