Pegaso Driver Development Programme - Season 65 update

Hello Pegaso fans, we’re back with our seasonal update on your driver’s progress. To put this together, we took a look at your driver's rating and skills on day 50. This is merely a snapshot – perhaps you just had a bit of a rough week, or your driver's skills had just gone up afterwards. In any case, it gives you the chance to compare your progress with that of your fellow fans and some of your driver’s peers.

Quite a few Pegaso fans have already had the chance to get a taste of F1. A common complaint is that F1 is too closed off and that team managers keep fishing from the same pond. That may well be true, but it is also a fact that many F1 teams are on the lookout for talent and are only too keen to give new names a chance. As I’m writing this, a few weeks before the start of the next season, 6 out of 30 seats are still vacant, and that is not because teams are spoilt for choice. If your driver is good enough, sooner or later the offer will come.

Having said that, I certainly don’t want to imply that a career in MRC can’t be just as enjoyable and fulfilling without ever getting anywhere near F1. It’s only a small part of the game. If you do have that ambition, this stat may give you an idea of your progress. And if not, it still provides an extra bit of data, which is always nice.

As in previous seasons, we’ve welcomed some new fans and seen a few veterans create a new driver. We try to keep track of this as best as we can. If we’ve overlooked anyone, please do let us know.
