Looni Racing does not make it easy for Loimusalo

The last race of F2 South America Series, Londrina, didn't go as expected for Looni Racing and it's hard-working driver, Samuel Loimusalo.

During the free training session Loimusalo made two different mistakes which cost them a lot of testing time and they weren't able to find the best possible adjustents to the car. This resulted in 15th position in the qualification. However, it is widely known that Loimusalo is more an endurance driver than a one lap driver this wasn't unacceptable. In the short race Loimusalo was able to gain positions and finished 5th.

The result of the short race was really promising and it could be clearly seen that they were already thinking about the podium, but that wasn't really the happy ending this time. The race started well but already on the lap 5 Loimusalo had to return to the pit due to oil pressure problems. The Race was over for Looni Racing.

We got in touch with Samuel Loimusalo but all we could get from him was:

S. Loimusalo: S*** happens. Better luck next time.
