Com um 7º lugar na corrida #2 da rodada de Istambul, o piloto Rodrigo Mattar (Dallara-Honda) obteve seu melhor resultado da F3 Romanian Series, ao partir da 11ª posição na corrida longa, com pit stop obrigatório. O piloto andou bem o tempo inteiro e conseguiu a posição graças a uma entrada do Safety Car no fim da disputa.
