World Team Championship! S64

Welcome to a new edition of the World Team Championship.
A new season begins, a new story waiting to be written, and a new challenge for both drivers and teams.
In this second edition, we will preserve the strongest aspects of the regulations and the competitive dynamic that defined the first season. However, like any living competition, the WTC evolves. And yes—important changes are coming. Let the engines fire up, spread the word, welcome back the sponsors… and we’ll see you on track.
The opening round will take place at Zolder, Belgium, a circuit chosen by the reigning Drivers’ Champion, Remco Raveel—a privilege reserved for the driver who dominated the previous season.
But that’s not the only change to the calendar. Addressing one of the most debated points from the first edition, Monza leaves the schedule and Monaco takes its place, redefining the Triple Crown. From now on, it will consist of Monaco, Le Mans, and Indianapolis.
In addition, Fuji will rotate out this season and be replaced by Madring, introducing a modern circuit that will also feature in Formula 1 this year.
And now, the most significant change of this new edition.
In the first season, the WTC featured both a Drivers’ Championship and a Teams’ Championship. Both remain fundamental pillars of the competition. The Drivers’ Championship will continue to be the ultimate title—the one that crowns the absolute champion of the World Team Championship.
However, after carefully listening to our fans, teams, and sponsors, we decided to take things a step further.
Starting this season, category-based championships are introduced:
Platinum Championship
Gold Championship
Silver Championship
These championships recognize the best drivers within each competitive tier. The Platinum Championship represents the battle among the elite of the WTC—the best of the best. It may coincide with the overall Drivers’ Champion, and when it does, it will be a clear statement of total dominance.
The Gold and Silver championships, meanwhile, ensure that every driver has a real goal to fight for, a meaningful battle of their own, and a place in the history of the championship.
This way, every race matters.
Every point counts.
And every driver is racing for more than just a position on track.
Season 2 of the WTC starts now.
New circuits, new titles, and the same passion for competition and for making history.
