Tiskové zprávy - Sjaak de Vries and rain.....

Sjaak de Vries and rain.....

In the Benelux series Sjaak de Vries had another great weekend. A good quali session placed him on P2 for the sprint race startgrid.

A sollid race helped him to a nice podium place finishing 2nd. Behind his big championship rival L.Pal who closed the gap a bit.

But then there was the main race. Being a dutch driver on a wet TT circuit assen helps a lot. due to a lot of safetycars at the beginning it was not clear wo was better. Sjaak or L.Pal. Sjaak was on a better safetycar strategy so he came out in front. but after another safetycar L.Pal overtook him. But a fiew laps later his race was over. Sjaak cruised to another victory and was realy happy on the podium.

And he got a reaso to be happy. the numbers 2 3 and 4 in the championship didn't score a single point. so now he leads whit 188 points meanwhile the number 2 only got 150. but the season isn't over yet.
