Hendrix Starting Off on Right Foot

Red Eagle Racing driver Eric Hendrix has started his career off well despite some potential setbacks. The 18-year-old American has currently amassed 7 top 10 finishes this season in 37 races. This is all happening despite not racing in the Rookie League.

"I don't know exactly what happened with that. My thought was that me not having a rating would get me sent to the Rookie League, but I'm fine with it. More competition," said Hendrix.

"I'm really impressed with his stuff so far," said RER Competition Director Kurt Morrison. "Earlier today he finished 6th in an F3 US Series race. I think he's something like 6th in the standings right now, which is completely exceeding my expectations of him!"

Morrison also noted that in his rookie season, he had 8 top 10 finishes against less talented competition and in over double the races. "When I turned the wheel over to Eric, I knew it went in the right hands. He's working hard, and I see him going places in this sport."
