Second place for Abraham on the first race at U19 WTVC Suzuka

Tough race for Lapuerta where after taking the holeshot he was overtaken by his two main rivals, Steve Bell and Depallier Sr. Both crashed and lost some ground and later on Depallier was forced to retire. Bell has another crash that forced him to enter the pits to repair the damage and only managed to finish 15th. Meanwhile, Lapuerta had a conservative drive that allowed him to avoid issues and was able to finish second.

He has taken now the top of the table with 35 point lead over Bell. A 5th place will secure the championship to Lapuerta.
