MRC Makes History: The Generations Cup Has Arrived

With an initial investment of 550 coins, the creators of the World Team Championship will launch a new competitive era in MRC during Season 78.
With the goal of recognizing, bringing together, and celebrating the different historical generations of drivers within the game, the GENERATIONS CUP is officially born — a competition designed to unite every generation on the same competitive stage.
The project will divide MRC history into generations made up of groups of seasons, allowing entire eras of drivers to be identified according to their seniority, development, and historical context within the game. Each generation will represent not only a period of time, but also its own identity, legacy, and way of competing.
From the most experienced veterans to the newest talents of Season 78, the Generations Cup aims to create historic rivalries, generational statistics, and a new sense of belonging within the community.
Because in MRC, it’s not only about who the best driver is…
it’s also about which generation they belong to.
The structure of the Generations Cup will be based on generations composed of four-season blocks.
Starting from Season 1 of MRC, the game’s history is currently divided into a total of 20 different generations, allowing each era of drivers to be properly represented.
As the starting point of the project, Season 78 will host the first official Generations Cup event, with the active generations organized as follows:
• Generation 20 — Seasons 77 to 78 — Ages 18 to 19
• Generation 19 — Seasons 73 to 76 — Ages 20 to 23
• Generation 18 — Seasons 69 to 72 — Ages 24 to 27
• Generation 17 — Seasons 65 to 68 — Ages 28 to 31
• Legends Division — 30+ years old
Unlike a traditional age-based system, generations within the Generations Cup do not disappear or replace one another. Every driver will permanently retain their original generational identity according to the season in which they entered MRC.
In addition, once drivers reach the age of 30, they will also become part of the Legends Division — a special category created to bring together the most experienced drivers in MRC.
However, joining the Legends Division will not mean leaving behind a driver’s original generation. Drivers will be able to simultaneously represent both their historical generation and the Legends Division, creating a new competitive dimension where experience, legacy, and long-term achievement play a central role.
The Legends Division will represent the highest historical category of the championship, bringing together the most accomplished veteran drivers from every era of MRC.
Registration Opens: 01/06/2026 — Day 1 of Season 78
Official Start Date: 14/06/2026 — Day 14 of Season 78
MRC history will no longer be measured only by seasons.
From now on, it will also be measured by generations.
