As Season 7 enters its final 20 days it will be a nail biting finalé in the scrappy British F3 season, not only for the championship title.

19 year old Ray Striver - in just his first full season - has managed to take a record-equalling 7th pole position in the British F3 Season, a stat that has stood since Season 1!

Strivers manager had this to say:

Obviously we're overjoyed with this stat but the real news here is that we're on pole for what could be a significant round of this championship. I'll admit we were cautious of Maines. iHealy has always owned Knockhill since the days of Wellington vs Baines but we really put everything on the line for this one.

With a 30 point lead it is mathematically possible for Striver to become champion over the 2 races in Scotland but he admits he is not looking that far ahead just yet.

Can this young charger set an all-time record and claim an 8th pole position in 10 races in British F3 at the final round next week?
