Driver Michael Novikov led the charge for the team in qualifying, starting P2 on the grid and putting up an impressive performance on race day to take gold on the podium. This marks his 44th career win, and his 107th career podium.

Driver Dmitry Starostachev put on a show in qualifying, placing directly behind his teammate in P3 to start. Within the first few minutes of the race, he stormed into P1 and stole away the race to become a competition between teammates. Though Novikov won out in the end, his performance on race day was more than enough to solidify a strong 1-2 finish for Toyota. 

This result has launched Toyota Gazoo directly into title contention, tying us for points with Red Bull Vaillante. We hope to keep up momentum as we roll into Monaco.
