F3 Mediterranean Series, 9th Weekend

The 9th race of the F3 Mediterranean Series took place in the legendary circuit of Monza.

Fabrício Cruz achieved the best result of his short carrer with a superb double podium and outscored everyone except the alleged martian Phillippe de Montferrand which has been crowned champion this weekend.

"The weekend started very well with a 5th place in qualifying, even with a mistake on my lap so I knew we could do something special here."

"In the first race I climbed to 3rd in the first few laps and after the lengthy SC period I managed to pass E.Marone in the penultimate lap to take our first podium of the season!"

"The second race was great as well, I kept myself always near the podium positions and then after the pitstop we had a great fight with our fellow portuguese driver R. Silva who finished 2nd just ahead of me."

So with a 2nd and a 3rd place, Fabrício is now up to 7th place in the championship just a point behind 6th place which is now the team's objective for the final race weekend.
